RAISED NEAR THE POWERLINES (2007)

Featuring GDP, Tame One, BullyMouth, Atbash Cipher and More.

"...unleashes a furious set of borderline industrial-style hip-hop beats, boasting a griminess similar to the haunting and captivating concoctions of vintage Wu-Tang. With needle-on-the-record static behind keys, strings, and clever vocal samples, the soundscapes are immediately exciting, so much so that you might not notice this guy has a pretty sick flow and a flare for unusual but potent similes..."

THE GLASS HOUSE LP (2009)

Probably my personal favorite of the Powerlines Trilogy, though all three are definitely worthwhile.

"In a genre where keeping it real is interpreted by rappers as massaging their own egos it is always nice to find a hip-hop artist who knows that music is an art and a way to express reality as he sees it. Shape is one of those artist and his new Glass House EP is a good example of the marriage between hip-hop beat and meaningful lyrics."

FLOWER//VIOLENCE (2009)

The slept on bookend of the Trilogy. Check it out!

Flower//Violence is the final installment in the Powerlines Trilogy. It is a closing summation on the personal political and spiritual ideas I touched upon previously on the albums "Raised Near the Powerlines" and "The GLASS HOUSE LP." Viewed as a trilogy these three albums touch on many themes, but none so much as those of social and political paranoia and technophobia and a feeling of isolation and hopelessness in a dissolving world. However cynical many of my messages can be at their darkest, I've always sought to balance those nuances with a hopeful spiritual aside, touching on ideas of spritual awakening, psychedelic adventuring and the oneness of all energy in the universe as a indication of our shared destiny.

TAVERN FARE "WHISKEY DEMOS" (2010)

This is a small album of original folk songs I've written along with two covers. I sing and play guitar and ukulele and my good friend Mike Diebold plays lead guitar and harmonium. Michelle Giblin, who was featured on my song "Sadder Lights" on the Glass House album provides back up vocals.

People were really suprised to find out I could sing and play instruments. I'm actually currently working on writing a full length album of songs.

ROBOT HOUSE "MEN IN ROBOT'S WOOL (2010)

Made many years ago and only recently released to the public, Robot House is the synth-punk beer fueled collaboration between Shape and fellow Slang Corp alumni C-Minus. A jumble of genres whipped up with synthesizers, fuzz basses, samplers and electric guitars.
